@John1185 - I chatted to the man I'm seeing for months before we met to be honest. I wouldn't lose hope, must be loads of people in the same position here! Deciding to have an affair is a big step, a rewarding and exciting step sure, but a big one none the less. It's good to get to know one another for awhile, take things slow, there's no hurry. Nobody here is looking to walk down the aisle again, so take your time is my adv ;-)

I think it's vital to keep checking in on eachother and keeping things fun and upbeat. We're all grown ups here we can deal with some shorterm distance, it's not like you see your ie everyday normally anyway. If anything, I feel the distance has even made the heart grow fonder, and I really feel that I can't wait to meet up again soon. Texts, calls, photos, videos if permissable. Lots of love xx

The furthest most peeps get outside is taking the bins out....and that takes a week of planning and excitement 🤣😂🤣

I think it's probably much the same as relationships not found on IE.

I'm phoning, emailing, using Zoom etc, for my actual real friends and those who are in contact fairly regularly, are the people who will be my main priority to meet up with once this crisis has ended.

The only real difference on here is trying to speak to one another. Difficult because people are home, possibly self isolating with their partners.
But I have patience and am in no great rush.

We can still get preliminary introductions started and see where that leads us.

Be kind to each other folks.
