Arabelle, is that because ginger nuts might have been exactly what you were facing if you had accepted that offer....!!! They are not everyones cup of tea - or even ones teabagging in that situation - but I guess chacun a son goute (as the French would say with some accents thrown in).....😂😂😂

AA Gilfan, thanks for your advice. I indeed avoid talking to men with short profiles myself but surprisingly I’ve been doing pretty well. Chemistry is a different matter but indeed I’ve been lucky enough to have met some decent people. After all you don’t find much about someone by reading a long detailed profile. You need to start to communicate and it just takes one message. 😉

I guess I could indicate in my profile that I’m looking for ladies too but i think in reality it would be just men who see that, as I am officially “a female looking for a male”!

I’ve shared my pics publicly. Since having an affair is a risk anyway, so it’s all part of the thrill. Not recommended, I know.. but it means that a few gorgeous ladies have messaged me who may not otherwise.


Many (lady) profiles are quite combative (‘if you don’t like x, jog on’ etc) or so vague (love Whitney Houston, but not Madonna.. really?), that it’s hard to imagine what being with that person would be like.

The best profiles are pragmatic (meeting time availability), a little informative (casual vs dressy etc), a little provocative.. and maybe what she likes - or doesn’t! - in a guy.. now that you can put a response to..

And please please reply to say not interested.. we’re not all monsters. Maybe even feeling a little vulnerable and would appreciate the feedback to learn from.
