Never had cold feet. I always chat enough to get a fair idea about them before the first meet, if we are freely bouncing chat back and forth, then apart from the initial clumsiness which is cute, its all fine.

The worse that has happened is when I didn't check her pics properly and ended up being catfished with pics from 15yrs ago. Nothing more frustrating than an unexpected date with Pat Butcher :s

Being stood up or cancelled on ….is a different kettle of fish … you can put that down to ignorance and stupidity…but chatting to someone …arranging a meet for a drink then more chats in between…. progressing to a hotel ....all is great… the morning comes and reality kicks in ….they decide they can’t handle the guilt and the emotions that tie with an affair ( not sure why they thought it would be clinical)…

Wake up and smell the coffee ….we ARE humans and we have emotions and sometimes they can’t be turned off😑

Do lots of people swap dirty pictures lol seems like a teenager thing. You would never catch me sending or asking for dirty pictures lol or am I’m boating

If you really believe you can't even manage one date without panicking, breaking out in a cold sweat and have thoughts of bailing, then you're not ready for an affair.

Cold Feet…

This is another example of ‘I haven’t really thought it through’ … aka they are at a ‘crossroads’ in their lives and are not sure the way to go…so the fantasy begins but when it turns into reality they decide that they can’t cope as they are not emotionally prepared and the guilt trip kicks in …….The End of the fantasy
It’s a sad story for the other person as he/she may have really invested in this….this has a domino effect and they might be overly cautious next time ….if there is a next time…🤔

Interesting. I like to stay on site until we both build trust
And obviously attraction. I get more and more attracted to someone the more I get to know you if you can make me laugh then your 90% there the WhatsApp details will follow in good time but definitely after a coffee or two . There’s definitely no cold feet from me quite the opposite I enjoy the awkwardness of the meet lol

Cold feet, no. Nerves yes. Been doing this for years and still get nerves, mostly thinking is this going to be another dickhead!
PMI is right though, be ready for rejection, it happens. We are not everyone’s cuppa tea. Big balls and guts is needed here.

What’s that saying? Things aren’t like the good old days. There has certainly been a shift in the online marital dating world. Full of wannabes, dreamers and fantasists men and women!

First meets; weather you're an IE virgin or seasoned pro are always fraught with nervs/complications.
I'd love to say there's a hard and fast cure for this but there really isnt; you'll either meet and get on, meet and not get on or not meet at all.

At any stage, you must be prepared to accept rejection or acceptance so you must be able to cope with this.

For most, joing IE is the riskiest thing they will ever do and go no further - regardless of what they write in messages.
Being understanding of your IEs situation is important to ensure a smooth transition from a Web based affair to something potentially more physical
