unfortunately in my case it was in the genes didn't want it to happen ,was happy for many years well the illusion was there ..then Bam followed my dad, uncles, brothers and even sister ,really keeping it in the family but not that way lol

I've actually never cheated! This is the reason I'm on IE, I don't want a traditional relationship at this stage of my life with the risk of cheating.

Monogamy is unnatural for men certainly and probably nearly as much for women. For every man that has an affair there is a woman involved. Most men and women are certainly tempted to have affairs sooner or later so the inclination is usually there, but not everyone gets the opportunity to do so. Not everyone will give in to their natural instincts and temptations though for all sorts of reasons.

Whether the abstainers or the indulgers are happiest in the long term is a moot point but it must be awful to " Die wondering". I remember a TV interview with Sir John Betjeman when he was nearly at the end of his life. He was asked if he had any regrets. He replied " Yes, I should have had sex with more women"

For me now though, I would be happy with just the one if it works.

And I will leave you with that thought.

I think its easier now with online opportunities to ' meet' people and think more do than is realised but there are those that don't.
