Be glad you haven't met the "very successful" business owner who wanted to split the £30 Travelodge room before we have even met!!! When I expressed surprise, he insulted me by saying he knew I'd be "that kind of woman" ... what a charmer ... needless to say, he didn't even make it to the coffee stage!

I hear what you say. I believe there are two main factors to not getting a response when it would seem expected: women saying they have no upper age limit concerns in a suitor when they in fact do and abandoned accounts. However you kind of learn who they are after a while and progress with the ones that aren’t like that.

Not sure what I’m doing wrong... I keep things polite and properly introduce myself, then nothing back... women say one thing in their profile, but behave differently when you open a conversation.
