Ask me out!
I have a massive crush on someone here, but I'm a bit nervous to suggest a date. Been talking for awhile now, non stop! I keep catching myself smiling every time I get a message. I can't work out why he hasn't asked me out yet! What do I do?

Have to say, if you're posting this question on this website, yoy might be better suited to a more...mainstream? dating site?
Not trying to be offensive in any way, but this site is surely for people who know what they want and are looking for - and it usually isn't a new life partner/spouse! Be very careful if you are getting too emotionally invested - the reality is, you're likely to be disappointed/hurt in the long run?

Very true, very true.
Only this morning when I got into work, I assessed the road I’d crossed. I just ambled across, not really aware. Hoodie up, (it was cold and foggy)..coffee in one hand half eaten mars bar in the other. I heard a car and turned to look but my hoodie didn’t move and it knocked the mars I was eating, out of my mouth..luckily I caught it, nodded to my self in satisfaction, happy danced and carried on my way. The car just passed me by.
On reflection, it could have been so much different..the thought of losing my mars bar…

Speaking as a man I would be thrilled to be asked by a lady for a date ,the very worst that can happen is for you not be as keen on one another on meeting but if you are getting on really well by messaging that does not seem likely .Go for it don t be shy !

You just ask him out. This is IE - you are supposed to be finding what you want and need in life, rather than worrying about what you are not getting at home. If you are shy about asking for what you want in a situation like this then you might want to ask how you have ever successfully crossed the road?

It's the modern world - just ask him. Perhaps he is nervous about asking too. If you don't want to ask directly, then be suggestive about what you'd like to do - I hear Costa are doing their winter coffees.
