As a married man who is looking for an IE I don’t have a problem with singles being on the site, if everybody is honest about their situation and both parties, being consulting adults, are aware and can make an informed decision where is the harm.

I’d find it quite exciting meeting a singleton through here.

The site is partly responsible - there is no classification for 'single' - so you have to be divorced, widowed or separated - even if, like me - you're none of those things!
So thats where it starts I'm afraid... but then the site doesnt allow same sex connections and messages either, so its somewhat operating in a different era!

And yes you're right, my availability has never been an issue as I can be more flexible.

It wasn’t until I read these exchanges that I knew there were issues about singles being on here. There are many profiles of divorced women - and what does ‘separated’ mean if not implying being on your own? I can’t see the problem so long as the person is honest and that may not always be the case I realise. But I can’t see an issue if two people eventually hit it off and one has no partner or spouse. It must be potentially easier to have an affair with someone without ties.

Thank you so much for writing that - it’s the first time I’ve seen a guy here write anything like that ref being here as a singleton…

The single-bashing gets quite annoying, the random messages calling me various things - then an immediate block (for instance)….. 😱 and I have to say, very often that is ‘older’ guys that do it… who you’d think wouldn’t be so outwardly rude.

So yes, that’s what (for me) it’s all about being here as a singleton. Refreshing to see a guy post that. ✅

I have used this site in the past when I was single and not intending to get into a long-term serious relationship. It's not just about the sex - there is the experience of getting to know someone, enjoying drinks or a meal together and enjoying all that interaction with a woman, but also knowing at the same time that she doesn't want a serious future together. It can be refreshing to just put that on the table and enjoy time together.

I was told about this site by a divorced woman id met locally . She used ie to meet men as she didnt want long term but wanted sex.

She knew when we met that im attached as i was honest with her and she didnt see an issue. The sex was great and very mutual.

So she used this site when she was single but was honest and found what she needed

I have chatted with married men who have told me that they also go on sites for singles. No judgement here from me btw, but do spare a thought for the poor single who is genuine in their intention of finding a life partner 😊
