Years ago, I'd been exchanging messages with a woman. I knew we lived within about a 5 mile radius and was keen to get to know her better.

We moved over to chatting on messenger and she suggested we put our web cams on. We did so, she looked lovely ...a petite blue eyed blonde.

After chatting for a while she asked "do you live in X" X being a small district. I was surprised but answered to say that I did.

"Do you live on Y street" Now I was taken aback, but answered that I did, and asked how she knew me.

She said that she didn't know me but that I lived at number 66. I did!

I said that she must know me. She insisted not.

How do you know where I live then, I asked.

"I recognise it from the background" she said!!

It turned out that she had sold it to my landlord a year earlier. She asked if she could pop round for a coffee and see the place again ...

She lived a 5 minute walk away. 10 minutes later we were drinking coffee and an hour later we were in bed together.

It happens a lot. Even more difficult to understand is when I can see it is date stamped - and clearly years out of date 🤣

I spent 20mins in a pub waiting for my date to show up, then realised he was already at the bar, chatting up the barmaid! He didn't look like his pics at all, but I stayed for a couple of drinks and a chat out of politeness. He was confused when I refused a snog at the end of the evening, needless to say there wasn't a 2nd date on the cards 🤣

Once you share a picture, you have no control over where it goes . Revenge posting is a criminal offence now. My friend lost her job because her ex posted videos on porn sites. Not her fault but she consented at the time....... maybe think twice ,, send once.

I think they are reviewing the law in England and Wales around sharing private explicit pictures without consent. It's a criminal offence in Scotland so I believe. People need to be careful they don't land themselves on the sex offenders register.
