I think we'll just have to agree to disagree on that. Wave movements are great. Water washing away natural lube is not so great. So it's OK if you're only planning on doing it for about 5 minutes... Which I definitely don't 😉

I would definitely bring a big supply of pumpkin/sesame seeds and walnuts as they do have an incredibly effective restoratative effect....... And a good supply of aloe vera (assuming there are no aloe vera plants on the island) for those tender moments of tending to the bits that have got tender.... whether as a result of the sun or otherwise.....
