A bit left of field ... I can't name one album but I have songs that all mean something to me in our twilight world we inhabit.
"Warm wet Circles" and "Torch Song" - marillion
"Beauty has her way" - Mummy Calls
"Perfect day" - Lou Reed.
"Sleep" - Texas
"Come again" by Damn yankees - cheesy power ballad,
"Shakespeare in Love" by Layla Kaylif - That lovely moment when your heart just jumps in your chest!
"Man with the child in his eyes" kate bush - I love this one, it reminds me of one cold rainy night in covent garden where we just held each other, she nuzzled into my neck trying to get warm and I had my head in her hair and time stood still. The street lights were an amber glow, and they refelcted off the puddles - it was just magical.
"Mention of your name" Chris Rea - for the one that I never wanted to let go, and even now a decade and a half on, it still hurts. She was the one who gave my my user name.
and now I feel all soppy and sad. :(
