If I were you I’d avoid hotel rooms for the first couple of dates.
If it actually gets that far… so tempted to put up a couple of emojis now but I shall resist lol.
Meet in a public place for coffee, a drink perhaps.
Do not agree to meeting in a hotel room, a car or any other vehicle or, basically, anything that is not in a public environment.
Safety first.
Just saying what most women are thinking.

There are a couple of sites you can use to find "day use" rooms a quick search on the interwebs will help, some airbnbs also offer this service. Some places offer early entry (12pm) so you could use it all afternoon/evening and leave at night.

Everyone is slightly different but i would encourage meeting where you are safe and avoid PDAs in areas where you could be recognised by passers by.

Don't mean to be boring, but you don't actually know who your talking to, they can say alsorts. My friend thought he was meeting a 50 year old woman, and a 18 year old girl turned up. # just saying

My first meet in a few weeks will be a walk with our dogs, with a blanket, flask of tea and biscuits for us and the dogs. I am too nervous about a first meet in a hotel.

There is a web site called “day use” . Hotels that rent out rooms during the day to maximise their revenues. They are mostly top hotels and very good.

Apart from other considerations you could talk for ever but in the flesh the chemistry might simply not be there and you don't want to go further so don't put yourself in a position where it is difficult to extricate yourself

Meeting for the first in a coffee shop is by far the least pressured way to meet. Trying to decide whether you will connect with someone by chatting and exchanging pictures tells you very little. You need to sit down and talk. We pick up so much about a person from their manner, their smile, their response to you. Most people can descide in seconds if that person is right for them. Then after the first meet in public it’s easy to politely walk away or begin the process of really getting to know each other.
