Anytime is a good time to meet as far as i’m concerned it won’t matter whether the kids are back at school or not, if you really wanted to see someone you would find the time!

i met someone yesterday, he seemed nice we had a coffee and a chat but although chatting online was great, face time face we had no connection…sometimes it’s just not there 🤷‍♀️ he did upset me slightly by saying he preferred petite women (i’m 5ft 10.5) he knew that already so maybe he thought i was fat 😂 i’m a size 12/14 bang in what Marilyn Munroe would have been kinda cried myself to sleep :( but woke up this morning realising if that was the reason what a shallow person he was and i dodged a bullet really :)

and yes i hope he reads this, you know who you are!

Again, there is no disparity between the numbers of men and women.

You say that women are ultra picky and fussy, get real!

Did you really expect to come on here and have women falling at your feet, in desperation for your attention.

What do you have to offer that we ALL want, obviously nothing.

Everyone has their own taste, you have just proven that for men like you, it's just a hole to stick it in.

Get real!

As Bobb20 (sounds like a really decent guy, hope he meets someone fantastic) said, women can smell the desperation and the lack of care who they stick it too!

You do make a good point

However I think it’s really just a case of the numbers disparity between men & women the fact women don’t pay & of course what us men really want from here compared to what ladies want or are expecting I should say

Meaning their attitude to this place is very different, there are no time constraints, they can play the long game, be ultra picky and fussy, where’s us guys, the clock is ticking

As another man, like you, commenting, I do wonder whether women can smell desperation in some men, and it is rather off putting?
Personally I’m not into throwing ‘mud at a wall hoping some of it will stick’ (well not yet anyway as I’m pretty new to site :-)).
I liken it to walking up to every woman in a bar on a singles night and handing over your photocopied phone number, hoping one, anyone, will ring you.
I made a similar comment about face photos on another thread, I’m just of the view that I would rather only message those that catch my attention and appeal, and pen a half decent note to them. If no reply, then so be it. However, if someone likes my messages then it may go a bit further!

As a male I don’t believe it makes a difference…. This site and many others are like going into a casino…. You buy your chips and have a limited time to try and get the jackpot…. The more messages you send the greater the chance of a response before your money runs out and you buy some more or walk away back to reality. For the ladies, it must be like a visit to the sweetly shop with a gift token for as much as you like , or shopping for fruit and carefully picking every item up but buying none.
I have been on here 12 months sent hundreds of messages, can count the replies on two hands , and had one lovely lady stay in touch for 9 months , but she lives 5 1/2 hours away….
We all have busy lives and we all want that hidden gem…. But I wouldn’t be commenting here if only half the people I messaged could have bothered to reply….. this is just how I see it anyway !!!

Poole, if I makes you feel any better, this site is one of the absolute worst from a man's perspective. Not only are married ladies SUPER picky with who they want to engage with, this forum also comes with a small band of very vocal women who enjoy telling you to "get over yourself" etc.

You have to make sure that you are in a good place mentally before stepping into this particular bear pit.

My son is grown up so I don't have that problem but I guess it'll free some of the ladies on here... :-)

I don’t have kids so it’s less about that, and more that I now have to deal with the traffic going into work each morning again 😅
