Weight loss in relationships

My friend has lost a couple of stone on the Ozempic diet and now she's started flirting with other blokes and even asked if she should cheat on her husband of 14 years. Anyone else experience weight loss in a relationship that's made them suddenly stray?

I think an increase in self esteem with weight loss can lead to increase in confidence in all aspects of one’s life. If there are deficiencies in a relationship they could easily manifest themselves with a desire to look elsewhere. Like in the other thread where people were putting down that they wanted someone better than themselves, I think this might be the next stage eg wanting something better than what they’ve got in a partner. Having great sex is part of living your best life, isn’t it? I’ve lost quite a bit of weight since winter and I feel great, more confident and wanting more sex. There are only a limited number of alternatives if it’s not available at home.

Perhaps he’s an ungrateful prick who doesn’t realise what he’s got ….🤔

So the wife has had to put up with her husband being shit in the bedroom all of her life but she’s not winging about it and she loves him dearly…now she’s found her lover she feels very good…

WooWizard…

Weight not wait 🙄

For me gaining weight due to excess comfort eating (and I’ve always been a larger lady!) was one of the warning signs I needed more than my (very complicated) official relationship.

Yes, me! I was 16+ stone/100+kg and lost about 2 stone/12 kg.

Losing weight makes you "you" but on a good day.

More positive and confident, more energy, and with that an increase in your sex drive, and a new found self respect.

If you turn around after a year or so making an effort and losing weight and your partner is still sat there drunk and eating crap, then you're naturally going to gravitate to where you are getting the attention you deserve.

Yes, that could be colleagues or friends. But if you need more, you are going to start to stray...
