Any man entering into an affair with a woman that has school age children etc should be aware of this. 6 weeks isnt that long and im sure messages can be exchanged in the mean time. The break should make it all the better/eager when you can see each other again. If he doesn't understand this then allow him.

Your instinct to stop things is probably guiding you well. Make the most of time with your your children, they’ll be gone before you know it. Also, children have a knack of being perceptive and instinctual so are high risk on the deception front.
