Are all men designed to cheat?

The recent public revelations about Tommy Fury's infidelity have sparked widespread conversation.
Most people would say she's pretty perfect so why should he feel the need to cheat?  Would you agree that no matter how great a woman is a man will still cheat as it's in his DNA?

Men AND women cheat! Nobody is programmed to do it, it's a choice and it's a choice that needs to be owned, for good or bad.

The circumstances that bring people to IE are many and varied and who are we to judge anyone? (Although I do hold a tiny space of judgement for people who watch these ridiculous reality shows).

I think someone is taking the piss with this ‘loaded’ question …🙄…

Before some of us get ‘holier than thou ‘…there are women and men on here and it’s not called IE for nothing.

As for the those pathetic people who choose to live their lives through some mind numbing programme ….yes they chose to air their dirty laundry and they got paid for it …but when it all goes wrong we supposed to feel sorry for them ….Not on your Nelly ..🙄

She's not that pretty and nobody's perfect.

He's just a word I can't use, persistent bad reputations don't come from nowhere.

As far as I hear it they met on Love Island, sure fire long term, till death us do part relationship.

I have obviously commented but I'm already pissed off at this stupid topic.

I doubt this stupid question came from a member, if it did it was some stupid young
girl/guy.

I don't live my life through the lens of stupid people, stupid reality shows, where people are just out to make money.

A reminder, this is a cheat site for men.

AND WOMEN!

How dare they suggest that men are biologically programmed to cheat, as if betrayal is somehow excusable? It's insulting to assume men are inherently worse than women when it comes to loyalty. Infidelity has nothing to do with gender—both men and women can be unfaithful. Sometimes, people cheat because of emotional neglect or a breakdown in the relationship, but that’s a reflection of individual circumstances, not some genetic flaw.

Many people stay committed not because they aren’t affected, but because they prioritize their children’s happiness and safety, putting family above personal pain. To reduce such complex situations to lazy stereotypes is absurd. Cheating is a choice, not some inevitable outcome.

She just had a baby at which point her focus goes from her man to her child. A lot of men find that hard to take a lot find comfort elsewhere. The same happens when kids grow up and become independent - at that point women go er hello can someone pay me so attention please. Both sexes do it just at different times and for different reasons

Well the majority of people here are cheating so probably not the best group of people to ask😂
I think people cheat for a whole multitude of reasons and it’s easy to judge people without knowing their situation and what they are dealing with in life.

It seems strange to ask this question when thousands of women are also on this site. I don't think that men are programmed to cheat - both men and women are on here doing exactly that. I think one of the most common reasons for sexual conflict is having kids - when the women is likely to not feel like sex and is also focused on caring for a baby. Therefore this is a time when men might be tempted to cheat, but it's certainly not universal.

And that point about "she is perfect" - who are you kidding? Anyone can look good, but be an absolute nightmare to live with, surely that is obvious?

It depends on your definition of 'cheating'! The whole idea is based on such a narrow, vanilla definition of male-female relationships. The whole 'forsaking all others' thing is a nonsense. Why? Monogamy is designed to define economic relationships, not sexual ones. In a modern world where women have an independent income, it's ridiculous.
