First Drink was a Mocha (My usual) as we met in Starbucks.
Of an Evening if I had a choice and was not driving, a MaCallum 15 goes down pretty well. an 18 is even better but most places make that too pricey!!

It tended to be a glass of wine, a bubbly or, if it was Spring time, a cocktail on a terrace bar
Shaken or stirred? "Does it look like I give a damn?"
Also, quantity has a quality all of its own.
One drink only = no 2nd date. Good to get out.
Two drinks = interesting and lively date, but no encore.
Three drinks and above: well after two hours, you stop counting drinks and start talking about 2nd date. You may be onto something.

it depends on if its a day date, evening, meal or just a drink...... coffee in day, beer in evening, wine with a meal.
