I wanted to apologise for misunderstanding/misreading your post. I hadn't realised you'd been catfished by a man posing as a woman. So apologise for my insensitive comment 🤦🏻‍♀️

While I don't doubt that the are people of both sexes on here who just want to live out a fantasy. There are those, myself included and I suspect most on these forums, who are genuinely interested in an affair. Albeit long or short term arrangement.

Many of us have met up with people who do not resemble their photos, but turning up as a different gender is a whole new level of deception!

Trust is such a huge thing, especially in what we’re doing (irony aside). Like Dotty Green said, there are lovely genuine ladies out there. Hopefully in time, you will feel comfortable enough within yourself to meet again.

Terrible situation - catfishing at it lowest form

It takes a huge amount of trust to meet someone and this will make you never want to trust anyone.

I may be gullible but I am not stupid. His messages and photos gave no hints. I still feel sullied by the whole thing!

He did go on in his messages about how many messages he receives here on a daily basis from other men.

I think I need another hot shower. Maybe I will try bleach this time instead of soap!

PS: I am a male. From what I have learned so far, this site must be incredibly flattering if you are a woman. Maybe that is a motivation for him? OTH, maybe he has deeper issues.
