Red Flags šŸš©

We hear regularly about the 'Red Flags' that turn people off a person in conversation and dates/meets. What have been your 'Red Flag' experiences during conversations and/or first dates? What lifted up the šŸš© for you? Or maybe it was a few šŸš© and worthy of bunting?

Exotic

Recently you seem to be being rather pedantic for the sake of it.

AthenaSings

You are contradicting yourself.

If you only share with people that you trust how could you have had your privacy invaded, when, as you state, you make yourself pretty private online.

Why do you care about fake profiles, surely we can spot them a mile off?

You get brownie points from me for this: "more fake parts than Carol Vorderman" ... brilliant!!! šŸ‘šŸ¤£šŸ‘

I guess if you give anyone your picture youā€™re opening yourself up to that risk anyway right? People do it even when single and on bumble/hinge etc.

As someone who has had their privacy greatly invaded, that honestly bothers me less than fake accounts.

You can make yourself pretty private and hard to find online. If youā€™re real and at the point of sharing yourself with someone whom you trust to have an affair with then anything they could find shouldnā€™t be an issue. Watch your back or donā€™t but you have to accept the risks youā€™re taking.

And then try gaslight you for even askingā€¦ ā€œI thought this was meant to be fun?ā€ā€¦

Also just getting mad defensive over anything, like in what world is that appealing to anyone? I get so many opening messages about how I better not be a gold digger and moaning about being sick of the expectation to payā€¦ no Iā€™m not a gold digger, what youā€™ve told me is you have no gold and youā€™re kinda an a** !!

Red flags, red flags, every where, nor any without any methinks.

It is a shame that there isnā€™t somewhere those of the same gender could discuss experiences, have some support or even compare notes (!)

I could write a college essay on the flag show but would probably just be classed as difficult rather than boundaried.

Iā€™m intrigued to otherā€™s experiences of what gets my back up. Example:

šŸš© The inclusion of a statement such as ā€œmust be able to construct a sentenceā€ on a profile. Itā€™s not that I donā€™t agree with this very basic expectation of another human being, my objection is the classist superior complex riddled shrunken manhood it stems from. And laughablyā€¦ most people with this claim are quite witless.

šŸš© While I concede that evolution and society have placed significant value on a womanā€™s youth, it does not make the experience of being bombarded with unsolicited attention or in fact dick pics any more satiable. You have childrenā€¦ grandchildrenā€¦ my ageā€¦ you d

I get that red flags potentially point to personality problems but why are spelling and grammar red flags?
