About Me:

I'm sensual and imaginative, very creative and a hopeless romantic! I'm an INFP personality type - creative, elegant and mysterious - Audrey Hepburn, Shakespeare, Tolkien, John Lennon and Johnny Depp share this personality type.

I'm in my final year of an honours degree in English Literature. My first year was centred on the arts in general and discovering a great love of art was an unexpected joy. I'm an Impressionism girl - I adore Cezanne and Degas....Manet...Van Gogh.. But I do like other genres - The Dutch masters, Caravaggio and Turner are also worth a turn in a gallery or two :) Photographic art also fascinates me, as does anything modern I can simply lose myself in.

I'm an author, currently writing a YA trilogy. I've written a children's rhyming book (Julia Donaldson style) which I published on Amazon. I write articles for online media platforms too.

I play the piano and viola and love to sing - I once sang in a Blues band. Travel wise, I love Paris and France in general, especially Provence; and New York is one of my favourite cities to visit too. I love the people of New York - they're bold and unapologetic, and fiercely proud of their city. I love Italy but I felt really let down by Venice - far too touristy and bad food! I would love to explore Italy more, especially the west coast and Florence. I also love Scotland, and I have my own tartan as I married into a clan. :) I am quite fluent in French and Latin and also a little Italian. I'm currently trying to learn a little Finnish for an upcoming trip to Lapland (to see the Aurora Borealis).

I'm a complete bibliophile! There's no sexier gift than a beautiful book (diamonds and cashmere would really do it too 😉). The last book I read was The God Of Small Things by Arundhati Roy. On my bedside currently are two books by the social historian Lucy Worsley - The Courtiers and If Walls Could Talk.

I have a very aloof kitty called Millicent and would love to own a Westie one day, whom I would name 'Hamish'. I love animals - all kinds - even insects! I'm quite capable of picking up a spider or daddy long legs and putting him outside - I never hurt them. My son has a bearded dragon and I find him quite wonderful, he's such a character! I'd love a huge house so that I could fill it with animals. And books.... :D

I'm very feminine and love to dress up, especially in the vintage 'pin-up' style. My style icons are Rita Hayworth, Julie Newmar, Marilyn Monroe, Bettie Page, and Dita Von Teese. I have often been told that I look like Veronica Lake (it's the hair!) I love burlesque (watching and performing) and 1950's glamour. I take care of my body and skin... I have an 'English Rose', porcelain complexion. I never use fake tan. I look after my hands and have long, natural, manicured nails. I love perfume, (Miss Dior, Hypnotic Poison or JPG Femme, if you're buying ;)) nice make up, powder puffs, silky underwear and red lipstick. I collect vintage powder compacts, vanity items and 1930's-1960's handbags.

I dress like a woman should - pencil skirts with silk blouses, fitted, fifties style wiggle dresses, seamed stockings, vintage underwear, corsets, high heels, negligees and silk pyjamas. I love masks and gloves. I've recently treated myself to a heartbreakingly beautiful ostrich feather-trimmed robe in vintage peach...it looks delicious on top of naked skin...

I adore real vintage pieces. I especially love vintage Dior and Givenchy, circa 1947-1960, or reproductions which echo this era. I'm a very efficient seamstress and love getting stuck into a vintage sewing pattern. Sadly, time is always against me nowadays. My favourite outfits are a good high-waisted pencil skirt with a nipped in waist, or a wiggle dress which conforms to my curves - all with high heels and stockings of course! It goes without saying that I don't dress like this every day - when at home I like to laze around in pretty loungewear... silk shortie pyjamas, tap pants and camisoles, cashmere ballet tops, playsuits, or the softest yoga pants with a bralette... never sportswear or jeans! I'm just not that type of girl. I'm the ultimate girly girl and I have very expensive tastes! ;)

I have long blonde hair - lighter than the pictures depict - and blue eyes. I'm a natural blonde ;) I'm petite - 5 ft 2, size 12, curves in all the right places, 38C-25-38 natural/non-surgical breasts and figure. I wear corsets a lot so my waist has been trained to give an hourglass figure shape.

Ideal Partner:

I'm looking for an intelligent, articulate and sensual gentleman for a friendship/chat and maybe texting. I do prefer the more mature man, but age is just a number. The most important things are deep chemistry and a mutual respect.
