Mind and matter

About Me:

The past: rugby player, City executive who climbed the corporate ladder early and fast, only to find out that there wasn't anything fulfilling up there.
The present: running my own company, married, travelling the world to meet clients and for pleasure between a travel ban and the next. But when I stop and stand still for a second, I know I am missing something...
The future: who knows! I work hard and love what I do, but I have a lot of flexibility in my day and I would like to enjoy the company of an intelligent and sexy woman to share brilliant conversation, laughter, cinema & theatre, classy bars etc...

I go to the gym, I am tall 6'3 ish and very fit as I exercise 4 or 5 times a week. In my forties but perhaps don't look it. I have been called handsome.

I am not stranger to affairs but am new to this platform. I am kind, which doesn't mean naive, charming, which doesn't mean superficial, and adventurous, which doesn't mean a nutter.

Ideal Partner:

Mind and matter. Personality and intellect first - I prefer someone who is sharp, has a good sense of humour, does not take herself (or me) seriously. If the personality isn't there, looks are frankly irrelevant - I have dated attractive but shallow in my younger years, and while fun, that chapter is closed. [And so, no offense, but I stay well clear of anyone with Botox, silicone, "enhanced" lips/noses etc etc.]
A mental and personal connection is key. Looks still matter, but are not the main thing. I would like someone who takes care of themselves and perhaps is physically active to keep up with me as we go from an undiscovered bar to an exhibition, from a play to a riotous nightclub. Or maybe just from the bed to the bathtub.
