Just enjoy it. Be polite, if you don’t like someone just say you’re not for me thanks. And if they are still persistent then block them. Don’t read too much into any of it until you have exchanged pic passwords etc.

I can understand how daunting can be for newbie
I would say go with your instincts and see each other sooner by exchanging password and see how you feel.
My biggest frustration is when you don’t get reply back from the other person. I find that bit impoliteness

Just stick to your values and desires, with every person you talk to you will experience someone in a different situation and life than yours so also be patient. There are people on here that you will have a nice connection with but in the end never take the step to meeting you so be clear with what you want and ask how they see it.
It's all about mutual respect, but don't spend too much time on someone who doesn't put in as much effort as you do.
