Ok so brand new to IE and really feeling my way, so as a newbie here goes,

In my humble opinion I would say that possibly the key to a long lasting IE will be communication, wether sexy, fun, happy, sad, good bad, Whatever the flavour

I guess sharing and understanding the message From one to another will be where I start?

When you have been with an IE for a long time you still need the feeling of wanting them in bed the passion the touch the smell taste of them and want them more and more when these feelings go it's over

Generally I must agree. Growing up at family gatherings, as had heard all the female mutterings time an time again, (I could also catch up later), I tended to join the male conversations as I grew.
I had no interest in football, cricket etc however sometimes there were some other topics discussed that just never seemed to come up with female conversations.

As I worked in male dominated offices i found this too.

Yes female friends can be great for helping to speak out about problems and talking often helps process which can help settle the mind support the given feelings.
Males often want to SOLVE a problem, I always want to solve a problems however they are such, that no one has a solution for :-(

Yes there are generalisations, however as long as we accept that they are general and NOT absolutes, everyone happy?

Honestly butterflies when you get a message from them mind blowing love making and a very romantic guy who understands if the date is cancelled through work or family this has to be understood from the start from me I like to buy my IE little gifts and visa versa this has all work perfectly for me in the past

I may not be a typical example of the human Male but I find politics dull, I don't like football ( I mean what's the point of shouting at a TV anyhow), I don't like beer.........

But getting back to topic, I met a wonderful lady on IE about 6 years ago and I like to think we had a great thing going together for more than 18 months. Sadly her circumstances and relationship needs changed or I think we would still be together. I consider myself very lucky for having known her.

My thoughts on the matter are if you want the affair to last, then be completely honest with yourself and your fwb from the outset about what you are both looking for from your relationship. There is no point in having an affair if what you really want is a new or replacement partner/spouse.
Its only my opinion of course........

Respect, time, understanding and caring I would think would make for a long term IE. But I've no experience to base that on yet.
