Nothing to do with info on profiles - mine is more than adequate.

Its the fact he has 'alarm bells' ringing due to my being single... I have never approached a guy I had red flags with upfront, haha.... And I DONT CARE who doesnt like my single status cos the guys I chat to don't care either!!

My profile has LOTS of info in it (if anything, a lot of guys are turned off by my profile due to that)... I tell everyone my story - when I know who they are!
My issue isnt been asked mipaulac, my issue is been described as ringing 'alarm bells' with someone due to my single status... If you have alarm bells - why message me? Desperation maybe???.....

My guy needs to be attracted to my profile, not turned off by it! Simple.

they probably don't but aren't you criticising a lack of information on male profiles?
I wouldn't consider the same question to me as a critcism or reason to end a conversation because they don't conform exactly to the shopping wish list.

The profile explains enough. A stranger doesn’t need my life history on the first message and is very unlikely to establish anything with me if that’s the starting point!

I would simply answer and state why I'm on a "married persons" site.
I didn't look for a negative connotation when a women I met last night was teasing me by calling be a "bike" 🤣

Well, what you probably shouldn't do on a cold Saturday evening, is message and say to me.....

'I have alarm bells ringing about why a single female is on a married person website.. want to chat?'

Err.... no. Bad move starting by criticising me, and if its already a red flag for you - why do you want to chat to me?...

Then he responds that I'm clearly here 'chasing' married men...

Err - I won't chase, I've got self-respect and in fairness I'm not desperate - and you're the one who messaged me! Who's chasing who babe?...

A bit of respect for us all been here for the same reasons is really required here a lot of the time! And the ice can be broken in a much more engaging way I'm sure!
