Ooh, quite a polarising topic and I'm not going to be very well liked for this but here goes...

I'm a strong, independent woman - not talking 'Destiny's Child' independent woman but I do have a job, own my home and car outright, no debts etc BUT I refuse to pay for the hotel for the first intimate meet.

I've been on coffee and lunch dates where the guys would disappear to the loo before the bill arrives and magically reappear after I've settled the bill - never to hear from them again even though it seemed to have gone very well.

Some guys will suggest I join them in their car, I refuse, and I don't hear from them again.

You see, I say 'Guys'. Multiple. Yes, this happens repeatedly. So there's no chance will I want to risk paying for the hotel for the first intimate meet in case I don't see them again after.

After the first meet, I'm more than willing to take turns but preferably they would continue to pay.

Some of you may not agree with that but that's me being truthful. Always.
