I agree with most comments here.... One is too less. Minimum for me would be two. I think it will be difficult to have connection and understanding with someone if it was only once a month.

Once a month is fine for me when I find him my job takes up most of my time I think it's well worth it with the right guy makes it more exciting waiting to see him

I think it depends on location and how things are inbetween meets.
Quality over quantity?
I would rather meet one amazing lover once in a blue moon for a whole day of passion with daily texts inbetween than weekly sub par liaisons

12 time's a year, really what's the point...

For anything to work it's got to be at least once every 2 weeks minimum.....take into account those time's when you can’t meet...

Family holiday's
Sickness
Work issues

And your probably down to less than once a month....
Keep it real, for anything to last once every 2 weeks is minimum.

I don't think anything less than twice a month is worthwhile and I do state that in my profile.It also depends on how much time you have when you do meet.

Two hours or more traveling there , two hours with them for a quick bonk in a budget hotel followed by two hours or more travelling back once a month is really not going to be worth the risk or very satisfying no matter how attractive they are and you will always be frustrated because its not enough.

It may be that the person who you are talking to is setting this limit because of their limited freedom. On the other hand it may be because they want to see four different people each month. You need to suss them out.

I think you should find someone else, but to be honest it does seem like you have reached that conclusion already.

I would respond with honesty (yes, that is the part where honesty is welcomed)
Say what you need, see what he needs, and if it is worth to compromise a little.
If not, carry on looking for someone else.

Then in my opinion it wouldn't work as you'd want more and they couldn't give or don't want to xx every working partnership has to be mutual end of the day xx
