I don't have a problem messaging first.

I will, however, stress that it is *not* always to hit on them although the majority immediately assume it as such! 🙄

Sometimes it's just to comment on something they have written or to let them know I enjoyed reading their profile.

Rejection oh my god no it's the way I was brought up to me the guy makes the first move and to be honest I have never had to make the first move on here or when I go out with female friends

Is it fear of rejection that prevents you ( And most ladies it seems) from making the first move, or something else?

I would never message a guy first nothing wrong with it I guess but I like guys to make the first move especially if they have read all my profile and mention a few things I have wrote in it
