First date

When do you know it's time to suggest going for dinner on a first date? Or are first date drinks more appropriate? x

I've had 2 affairs from here. Both amazing and very different. I had to kiss alot of frigs on alot of first dates to find them though....the struggle is real!

Wow. three weeks away and we've had the scrathing post out and some stricly come scoring antics.

Magnificent. Applause to the floor.

Funguy you've destroyed all my fantasies about you. 5'11 ? Just tell me you're 6'6 and scorecard lady is like your sporran with her hair round her face when standing up. Even if you're not.. jsut tell me you are. g'wan g'wan g'wan.

I know my shortcomings, I don't need someone on the othe side of the table teelling me how I'm not as good as the last person they enjoyed spnding time with. sod that.

Eliza, you're swoontastic, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

I agree with Life I A B. no pressure, no expectations, and you can just relax, enjoy and see what the other person's about. Smile, laugh, and see if make your bits go ping. If they don't, at least you won't have the who's paying for what small talk.

Take it easy with cadbury's Caramel. - that bunny, what a lady.

Going back to the original question.
If you are after a good relationship, meet in a public place on your first date, café or pub for a drink, even if you have chatted for ages. That way you would know if the person you have been chatting with is who you want to get to know further. That would be my personal preference. It has worked for me.
I think a meal may put too much pressure on your first date.
On the other hand, if you are after sex only then do go ahead and go for a hotel on your first meeting. Not something I would have ever been remotely interested in. Each to their own!

All parties in this ‘case ‘ (LadyD)…have posted realistic and controversial replies…yes we are all ‘entitled’ to our own opinions and whatever ‘dirty laundry’ is aired here …you have to be prepared for opinions that you don’t like as well as liking ….🍿🥤

I don’t think the grammar is the issue here …😁

** you’re

You’re welcome.

Found it amusing you pull someone up on a spelling mistake whilst making a grammar mistake. Just goes to prove we’re all human and make the odd mistake.

@Eliza Boo Oucch! I can see why you're an ex-journo with spelling like that.

I was always led to believe quality over quantity but each to their own.

This isn't a news site. It's a forum, where everyone can express their views.

Why the need to vilify anyone, or someone who doesn't share your views?

Who put you in charge here? You don't pay to use this site do you? Probably not.
You have had your say. You've 'won' your the better person....🙄
Satisfied?
