Its not about fulfilling destinies as that would mean actually having the children by different partners, its about achieving a feeling of fulfilment by pretending to do so but not having to take responsibility for the outcome.

There is a saying that if you put a coin in a jar every time you have sex for the first three years of married life, then take one out every time you have sex thereafter you never empty the jar.

I can beat 6 years, she’s older than me and I don’t fancy her in that way any more but we still get on fine day to day, there must be something else to life and I’m hoping to find it here, it’s not just sex it’s the whole interaction with a woman I miss

we weren't designed to be monogamous. men like to sew their seed and women like to have several partners father their children to increase their genetic diversity. that's why sites like this are so amazing. we can fulfill our destinies without rocking the boat - maybe not such a great idea being divorced in the coming financial meltdown.

Certainly a major part of it!

Physical side happens occasionally at home but it's hardly intense and exciting anymore. I'm not really up for accepting that something is better than nothing

I’m here for exactly the same reason. Not had sex with my wife for months, we are more like brother and sister, we get on okay , but no spark and excitement anymore, I yearn to find that one special FWB to rekindle my mojo, but it’s not easy x
