4 hoirs available. 30 miles there, 30 miles back. That's 90 minutes leaving 2.5 hours.

It depends if you drive or not. Ideally meeting someone within 45 minutes would be ok. I was chatting to a guy on here earlier in the year, we were getting on great and agreed to meet, he was shocked to discover that I do not drive and it was a deal breaker! I have good links to local and national transport and can get to a lot of places. He lived not too far, I suggested I can get the train to a halfway point but he said no. I never really got my head around it, and he is still on here so obviously never met a woman who could drive!!

Depends on the time commitment you can give if you only have a few hours to offer during the daytime you can’t be travelling too far. But if you can offer longer meets, overnights then I would say anything up to 2 hours or further if you meet in the middle. But agree the travelling can get tedious but can also enhance the anticipation.

I think I prefer them being a bit further away an hour to an hour and a half for me. I don’t want the risk of ever bumping into someone. X

Nowhere in this country is more than a few hours away we are so well connected. Plus it is rather romantic to get on a plane or a train to go and meet someone.

If i contact someone whos profile sounds nice i sometimes ask if the distance is too far just to get the question out the way early on.

An hour is ok if you have a hotel to spend the day together but closer is better....but not too close 😉

I get what you say. I once flew to Texas to meet a girl I had been chatting to for years online. It was an adventure but it wasn't sustainable.
