Unique first messages

What is the best most unique opening message you have ever received? I have just joined and don't want to just say hello!

I really dislike feeling like the message is a cut and paste job.
If we wanna start something lets try and get to know each other for real
- a 'line' is just a bit of a cynical start I think

I think many will have different views but mine is this: there are a lot more women here than men (good for you, guys!!)... but women (me) would take more time to reply, read your messages and try to see if there’s a connection somewhere... so replying to messages we get takes a lot of our time (no time to look at what else is there)... I get swamped with messages and I’m sorry if I haven’t replied to many of you... but what gets me to reply are the ones who have read my profile., because they bothered I will be more attentive to these.. a simple hi will be left at the bottom of the list and eventually forgotten... no super long messages... talking about politics or life crisis (in here we need a release... away from those topics pls). My view anyway, people may disagree.

I feel that women are the majority of message recipients...or do women take the initiative and search profiles and craft messages?

Relating the first message to the profile is key and shows that you have taken the time to read and see if there is a spark of interest to want to send a message.
This does takes time and effort and in itself will help you stand out from other messages.
But this is what men need to do...I am not so sure that this is what women do though...or is it?

I am man, so my successful messages that rewarded me contacts from girls, were on separate people as 'joking with her picture', 'adoring her picture' and 'expressing my fetish desire'. I get inspired by women so l write from my heart, so it differs from picture to picture. The most important thing is that what girl is receiving the message, i. e. a fun girl will ignore a fetish message very fast.

I'm thinking of growing a moustache and beard. Is there any way you might help me experience what it feels like?........

I always read profiles and tend to ignore people who haven't written much or used the IE format ( except if they are new). I'll then look for something which takes my interest and try to produce a funny comment without causing offence.

Funny. That's the key

@Jjoe11

The question was asked, we're only saying what we liked and what got our interest to reply. That's useful to know for those men who want replies. And, if the man has read the woman's profile, then he does already know quite a bit about her. It's not a pressure, it's an opportunity x
