I’d rather that than a negative description! it may be that he struggles with the right words or doesn’t want to seem corny with the selection of another affectionate descriptive term for you?

I’d also love an update on what happened!!

For me I’d assume someone telling me ‘I’m great’ but not actively arranging to see me again was probably trying to keep my on the back burner while looking for better options before his subscription ran out!
