I would love some attention to be honest. The wife looks at me with contempt, the cattle just look at me. What would it be like to have someone look at me with lust in their eyes, I would probably think they are choking and apply the Heimlich Maneuver. That in itself could go either way.

I've had chats with a couple of very nice ladies who were reluctant to meet me as my separated status and the nature of my personality means they'd be scared of falling for me.....makes total sense.

It appears being empathetic is a double edged sword for me, at least on here. And this goes back to some comments made elsewhere on this forum.

So right now I'm the resident forum shoulder to cry on until I can figure out how to cultivate my bad boy, doesn't give a shit persona!

The highs of an affair are certainly unlike anything I've ever experienced in love and relationships. Carrying around that secret is a permanent drug and possibly why you feel more attentive to others, your needs are being met so you can afford not to care what is missing from your marriage.

As P99 says though, it can be *really* hard when it ends, like any drug withdrawal, because you can't talk about it openly. It's nice that people here are able to support each other, particularly across the sexes!

The problem of having an affair is you can’t tell anyone about it as your world may come falling down around you….IE has an affair community in which we can reveal the highs and lows of what we are doing.. it’s good to beable to explain your emotions and vent occasionally…it shows that communication is important

This is a rare app and should be preserved 🥰

Hottie Spicy - I just spent much of this morning chatting to a lady on here being her support network funnily enough - made a friend today. It's the empath part of my character that I can't switch off....it's like a double edge sword sometimes

The butterflies are one thing, but the hardest part for me is the grief of when a deep affair ends. You go through so much emotional pain and can't tell anyone about how you feel.

Zero support network for us infidelity types.
