When do you Know?

You don’t . I don’t anyway….or do I ??
Been on this site a few weeks as a Gold member and my most noticed fault from the ladies is actually getting any feedback or response from about 95% of the women.
I have also observed most I’ve sent to are on here active every day.
I ‘m talking 45 to 54y age range
I personally write specifically to them and point out I have similarities to their wants from their profile, give them a heads up of my profile and my PW so they can look straight away, plus in the body of my text to them ask for comments … feedback
I’m not looking for an immediate response or even with a couple of days
The only excuse I can give them is they’ve got a backlog of replying to men that’s bigger than the Passport Office’s ‘In Tray.

I’ve only been here a short time and it’s been a steep learning curve. I’ve had some lovely conversations with accounts which are deactivated the next day and I’ve had some brief exchanges with women who seem to be genuine but aren’t interested in me. The most rewarding experiences have been intelligent conversations with real ladies whom I have made laugh. They haven’t led to meetings yet because the chemistry isn’t right but I’m optimistic.


Management of expectations is key I think. If you’re expecting every pair of undies to fall off because you’ve correctly punctuated your messages you’re going to have to get used to disappointment. If you’d just like to make a basic connection with someone and see how it goes tell them that. Honesty goes a long way, even in this place.

The only way is to have your wits about you when chatting, and meet. A person who pays you lots of compliments and tells you that you’re the one for them after only a few messages is very unlikely to mean it.

There can be an exhaustive amount of preference checkboxes, but fakes can easily tick those as well. Personally I would just chat and meet.

@snakkast I always take any messages with a pinch of salt until I’ve met someone. I think for someone like you, looking for younger, slimmer, pretty… you’ll need to be especially careful. If an attractive younger woman is pursuing you or being very charming, you should probably wonder why. If in doubt, arrange a meet asap, that should give you an answer

I would like to know how we can differentiate between a fake profile and a real one. Of course the chat to a fake person is great, and full of wonderful compliments (gut says it' too good to be true)...

I would like a better filter in this website, so I can focus on a lady who best matches what I am looking for / what they're looking for.

You simply have to be direct, and clear in what you really want. Endless messaging is flirty but not going to achieve your true goal.
