I think for me an ideal man would be taller, around 5ft 10 or over (I’m 5ft 6) but that’s mainly due to the fact I’m not the smallest person in the world so having a guy whose a bit taller makes me feel less conscious about myself. Having said that I wouldn’t discount a guy if he was around my height if we really got on well. It’s certainly not a deal breaker.

My husband is the same height as me

I am sure it's irrevelant as long there is that animalistic attraction 😏
However met a few in my life when they have hang ups when woman is taller than them in heels 🤷‍♀️

I am 5ft 1… everyone is taller than me … I don’t require a regulation height .. I married a guy 6 ft 1… because most of the tall guys all preferred smaller women back in the day …the majority of guys I have chatted too like smaller women aka petite so I am afraid the ‘height ‘ issue is not just a female thing …nor has it just been invented contrary to what you think it’s been going on for years..

I can see why tall women would prefer a taller guy .. it’s just a attraction thing..women like to wear heels …I like blue eyes others like brown/green etc etc..

No lady wants to tower over her guy but we are told in fairy tales that the prince/knight was tall dark and handsome ..😊

Some women/guys have a specific shopping list .. I dare say that’s where it stays far far away 😂

I'm 5ft 6, so 5ft 9/10 in heels.

But to answer the actual question about your partner's height. My ex husband was 6ft 1 and my present husband is 6ft 1.5.

I have dated shorter men.

Sure but most men are not honest about their real height so we don't know until meeting in person.

For example, with heels, I'm at most 5'5" ... so when I'm meet a man supposedly 5'10" or above, I do NOT expect him to be on eye level with me!!! 🤷🏻‍♀️

I am 5’6” - my height doesn’t bother me one bit as my partner is under 5’ (but not a midget) and my previous encounters (not from this site) have been a range of heights - most either same or shorter.

I get frustrated being “contacted” by those who state they are 5’7 and want somebody 6’ so they can wear heals. Their requirement is not the issue but I expect people on here to check out profiles properly to make sure they are on the same page (in the same book would be useful). If you don’t want men shorter than you or just like tall men , no problem, just don’t bother contacting me or you may be disappointed.

If somebody states something that is contra to my profile I don’t bother sending anything back as I need to know whoever I get in touch with has the right level of care to take on this kind of relationship.
