Respectfully, proactive1310, I disagree. I don't think lust is purely selfish (IMHO), lust just for yourself is half the reason most of us end up on here ;)
I'm pro lust as it's, from my perspective, an explosion of excitement felt by two (or more if that's your thing) people. It's giddy, exciting, fun, and adrenaline fueled. Exploring each others values and sense of humour as well as each others bodies is what it's all about.

But personally for me, and I'd argue anyone that says they don't want to change their current situation, love is a no go. Compartmentalisation is the key but also a deep respect for each others situation.

That's not to say you can't care for your IE. I would say thats inevitable. But there's a big difference between the two worlds. I had a thing last year that's finished now. We both still talk to each other as we're friends and set the stall out right at the beginning on what we want from each other and how to be sensible about it (not as boring as it sounds) all IMHO obvi

Fall prey… to love. Then define love.

Love… It’s an emotion that makes you smile… lust is internal … selfish.

It’s very easy to define between both… lust doesn’ t care about the other whereas love does.

I choose the latter .

I love the birds waking me up in the morning… I love the way the grass smells in spring. I only lust after them when I’m in the darkest depths of winter

And it’s a very good topic . I avioid the lusters

Longing….to feel that sparkle again and share special times with that special someone. Longing to feel that hand cup into yours for a gentle stroll or a nice dance and longing for the touch that says do much like….don’t worry I’m here. Longing for your life to jump start its batteries back into action x

My L word is London! Miss it, hardly get there since the Pandemic. Looking to return to a balanced life of home life at weekends, and work life in the City midweek (or at least I Lust for more London business trips and 'networking' events).
