Family tracking apps

My partner has decided to install Life360 on all our phones to track the whereabouts of our school aged children. How do I make sure it doesn’t track me on meet with my IE?

Just uninstall 360 from your phone, its your phone.
Other option is to put phone into flight mode when out

Easiest way ….

Set your devices to no location and no tracking …
Don’t install family tracking apps …phone them or text them…
Delete your sat nav…big giveaway !!!
Ensure your devices are not linked like phone to I pad..
Failing that take all of your devices with you 😉

Remember one thing women are way to clever with this kind of thing …they notice everything..😂

You can use settings on your phone to stop the app using mobile data, however I don't think there is any way to "pause" the system... everyone will see that your phone is effectively dead. Your only option is to say you lost the phone and it was returned, or something similar. Unfortunately, you can't keep on doing that every time you are meeting someone. Someone else here mentioned using a second phone - I think that really is the only option as you will attract attention by changing the app settings frequently.

Modern tech presents numerous obstacles and risks for people engaged in IE relationships. Personally, I would never agree to having any form of tracking app installed on my phone: for adults, that’s just wrong! In regard to Life360, a “Bubble” lets you temporarily show only your general location for a set period of time. The people in your ‘Circle’ will see only your general whereabouts, while all safety features stay on. Of course that poses it’s own risks insofar as you’d probably arouse the suspicions of your partner if every now and again you increased the size of your bubble! Best advice would be to buy a second phone that your partner doesn’t know about and leave the phone that has Life360 installed at your place of work or gym whilst enjoying a secret liaison with your IE lover! Btw … don’t forget that your partner could ask you to share your location on WhatsApp if they have suspicions about where you are or what you’re doing! 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yep we have 360 too, but way before my IE life … i was more concerned about my kids and my dad asking me where I was … lol… I tried putting it into low data when out because that doesn’t update apparently but it did 🤦‍♀️
Omg I’m a grown woman of 53 and I’m hiding from my dad and kids, you can’t make it up 🤣🤣🤣
I’ve turned mine off now and just put it down to not installing the right update until someone in here might tell me how to hack round it 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🤣🤣🤣

Just say no!
There is no reason for adults to be tracked by family members, you’re a grown up!!
