New Year, New Me?
I have decided 2024 is going to be my year! One of my main priorities is to find happiness for myself as the past few years I have been very unhappy in my marriage. Has anyone any tips for a newbie?

You need thick skin.
Generally to get out what you put in - no pun intended.
Write a decent profile, be prepared to write decent messages. Take care with the photos you share.
Spend a long time looking.
Think carefully about that first message.
Be prepared to be rejected many times
No when to stop messaging and meet!

Don’t expect miracles…Rome wasn’t built in a day.
You will get mesmerised with this …you will get ghosted ..you will get blocked..you will chat to time wasters and general idiots ..you will find lots of people are here for different reasons aka …just to chat ..pen pals ..ONS…so on so forth …always read their profiles even if some are like an essay …choose the person you feel you have ‘common ground’ with so you can engage a conversation..
Remember the way to phrase your words as they can be misinterpreted….but you can’t please everyone so don’t try ..hope this helps 😁

Secondly-don’t beat yourself up about being on here. Try and relax and “enjoy” it.
Now I need to go away and follow my own advice….as none of that is easy!

I read your post and initially thought you were stuck in a nut…and then I imagined you were trying to get out but no one could here you..kinda freaked myself out for a moment and needed to get it off my chest..I’m still kinda shook tbh.
