I am sure people are frustrated with where they live, compared to all those possible IEs elsewhere?
Can you have a long distance IE?
What’s the furthest you’ve travelled?
Are you too postcode specific?

I am visiting Newcastle in a weeks time but live in Cardiff. A meet up in Newcastle would be good as it feels more discreet and next to no chance of bumping into person when out with family…

Distance does matter, it matters a lot. I gained lots of correspondence from London and the South East but how do you explain to a partner you are just popping to London for a couple of days every month or so... difficult!
Whilst accepting you don't want to meet your nextdoor neighbour, within twenty to thirty miles is good. You can meet at short notice (within reason) and keep the affair alive. Long distance relationships on the whole will fade.

A question I have is I’ve placed on my profile two counties with regards to an area to which I believe is acceptable from me to travel or a potential partner to travel am I asking to much to limit who would contact me and should I remove these limitations.

Logically speaking, the further away an IE is, the less frequently you’re likely to see them but boy will those meetings be fireworks!
I don’t mind distance as long as I know it’ll go well and there’s a good connection and my partner is also onboard with the mutual scheduling.

I don't think distance should matter , I certainly would not want to bump into my affair and his partner if living quite close , further away then chances are minimal of being caught x
