I think it is easier than some might think so start seeing someone who isn't nearby. The implication of being nearby is that you can quickly change plans and arrange a meeting, but realisticalyl how often does this happen? I've certainly never had an IE send me a text saying can I come over now? Because both parties usually need to arrange to go out it usually needs some planning so distance is possible if you can afford to travel and you have a reason to be on the road. I had an IE in Wales before even though I'm from London - we saw each other when she visited London or I visited Wales and I often travelled for work so it was not difficult to visit every month. Obviously closer is easier, but don't discount the long distance if you connect with someone...

Anything can happen if the couple wants it to. But to go out of the way just to spend a bit of time with someone living hours away takes dedication. From personal experience, this is rarely reciprocated and the partnership will be shortlived or relegated to mostly penpaldom.

Neighbouring counties is about as far as IE'S can work, 40/50mls max.

It takes a special couple to do a long distance affair ..it’s not for me ..😕

I’ve met my IE up to 100 miles away, but that’s on route to work. But usually I tend to stick to same county or neighbouring county.

Long distance IEs don’t work for most as, well, I guess we all want the real thing, not the virtual?

It is frustrating, I’ve been on the site for nearly a week now and haven’t found anyone yet. Looking at it the same way I do life you win some you loose some, you just have to battle through the bad and enjoy the good that’s life I’m afraid
