Absolutely! It's the lack of intimacy at home that's got me here.
And contrary to popular belief physical intimacy is not the sole driver. For it to be a satisfying affair there needs to be a level of emotional, psychological and intellectual connection too.

Paula that's so true I had a long term affair for several years it was pure lust at first but the connection built over time that's why it lasted so long
We wanted to be in each other's company as well as the great sex

You can have have an affair and not have the’ intimacy ‘ you require …it derives from having a close bond and a mental connection… sometimes the intimacy isn’t quite there but as your relationship grows then so does the want to be together not just for sex because you enjoy their company and you like them as a person..
I have only ever met one IE that comes close to the above statement and it was there right from the beginning…

Not easy to find!!!!!

Intimacy needs to be earned. for me it’s a product of friendship and familiarness. The more you meet, talk and care will raise your level of wanting someone. You yearn intimacy with them because it’s them. Sex is not necessarily intamcy in this construct.
