New to this

Hi all I'm new to this and never cheated before. Does it get easier?

I think there's 2 things for people here... that adds to the complexity of the 'newness' to it all... the first is the affair/IE situation that everyone has commented on....

But as a single in dating world, I think a lot here have little understanding about the dating world now, in this time of dating apps and free dating...

Unless you have spent time in that world, you kid yourself that IE is terrible and the behaviours of males/females is dreadful... but let me tell you (as my 'fall asleep date' story confirms..) - the dating world is tough full stop!!! Online dating is shit!

Pay / don't pay / male / female / married / single - its all a tough gig.. IE is certainly the better place to be when compared with normal online dating in a single-world..and is better for my circumstances...

So roll with the punches.... it's tough, it hurts - but that's life!

And unless your date also falls asleep on you multiple times then its not so bad! Haha.... Happy Friday all!

To those ‘just’ wanting to be happy in life by way of having an affair, this implies you’re unhappy in your core space, your marriage.

Seeking this missing happiness from a lover must place considerable expectation on the relationship which can add negative tension.

I don’t think it gets any easier but with experience you can manage the situation better.

I am new to this as well so no idea if it gets easier as im.... STILL AVAILABLE!!!! I dont feel proud about it but just knew that I had to do something. We live in hope for that feeling again thats been missing for so long. So as I was advised, be patient and who knows.

Brewdicca -

I think that depends on what the state of your marriage is to begin with. I don't agree that your marriage is technically over once you start an affair. I'd say most people here are happy in general but missing some attention or intimacy or just craving something extra that they can't get at home.

I don't think it would get easier, I just think you learn to accept it.
I think you would still question it eventide you meet / talk and especially when your RL partner is nice to you.

I'm new to this but that's how I would imagine it. I could be wrong though.

I just want to be happy, if I will get that through cheating, then so be it!

I think you have to be honest with yourself. Cheating when married is fundamentally breaking your marriage vows. Your marriage is technically over once you do it, and actually over if you’re discovered. If you’re fine with that, keep going. If not……

I would say do not look at is=t as cheating look at as enhancing your life
