this should be about why different people cheat. Gender is irrelevant. Ive got male friends who crave emotion, who basically just want to be hugged. And have met girls who crave cock

Just to clarify, I think the main reasons is you shouldn't be with your husband/wife anymore, but you cannot leave because of the kids/financial reasons etc..

Or you're lacking in the emotional or physical department at home.

I honestly believe that reasons to cheat aren't gender specific. The reason is personal, individual, you cannot quantify these things

I felt neglected after 15 plus years married and joined after sexting with a male friend. I knew my marriage was over when I felt no guilt and excitement every time I met this one particular guy. You know where you are with the men. They have no reason to lie so are honest. Many people are on for different reasons but the majority of men I have come across are honest. They don't want to ruin your family or their family. Its different needs and nobody should judge or be judged as we all have different circumstances.

Ive gone my entire life and never once looked outside of any of my relationships. And here I am, married & browsing this site! I’ve never flirted with another woman since getting married.

I’ve given my relationship everything I have to give but it’s not reciprocated. It’s s over but we both remain civil.

Probably because the majority of people lead a similar type of life with the same partner doing the same things over and over again. Some can deal with it differently than others, often the guilt, kids ,frightened of losing the marriage stops most then of course on sites were people meet a number of others then sexual diseases are a concern.Some want a number of partners others would be really happy to have the one. Myself has i have got older would like to meet one person mainly for friendship and of course sex but the difference between myself now and the one year's ago is that I love the chat, the getting to know someone. For me personally the wife is disabled because of a long term illness so I do miss the things I have said above. Have i met anyone, no not yet,probably one reason is the lockdown and the other is that most who message me are from down South which is just to far away. Are women down South more into affairs than women in Yorkshire.Anyway if you do decide enjoy you only have one go at life.
