We want to feel alive and have choices. Like example with my husband I don't have choice, but I can choose man who I d prefer...with quality I like...I feel like to be able to have the best of the both worlds. You?

Yes of course. Its hardly likely to have been a woman's take on male sexuality because very few women actually understand it, and even fewer want to. 😛

@Suzieboobs. Unfortunately for wives and mothers ( And many men wish it were not the case too) men are not naturally monogamous and are genetically driven to stray. Its not just sex he wants its sex with someone different and unfamiliar. Some say its the male equivalent of the " Maternal instinct" and nobody criticises women for having that.

Sadly this is what happens to many if not most marriages when the kids come along. Some would say this is " Normal" and should be expected, others would say that this is precisely why humans should not mate for life.

Well I found this site due to checking my husbands phone, yes I know that’s wrong but hey no one’s perfect!
I found he was on many dating sites looking for fun and more, I’m really insulted by this because I am a very active person I have always wanted sex and a lot of it! He on the other hand use to complain to the point he wouldn’t even share a bed with me. And not once have I looked for a replacement but I have been very depressed over it, once in a blue moon he will pester for sex but it’s usually a 10 minute job, so he’s chose to look for fun else where when he has what he needs right here so can anyone tell me what he wants a affair?

Yes, he did … " ALL adventure romance and and kink disappeared" … a mother with young children isn't going to be too thrilled with adventure and kink to be honest … perhaps he needs to just concentrate on the "romance" bit, that's all. From what he says, he's been married 24 years therefore I'm guessing the lady is in her 40s already therefore she's going to be even more tired than say a much younger mother.

@ExoticOrchid, Bigjcg says he has tried making his wife feel special and it didn't work.

Usually, rightly and understandably, a mothers first priority is her children, not her partner and they can get neglected and feel unappreciated, just like wives can be by their husbands.

Once the man has fathered the kids he is often perceived as having fulfilled his main useful purpose in the family other than paying the lions share of the bills, maintaining the home and protecting its occupants until the kids fly the nest. Therein lies the root of many couples future marital strife and unhappiness which fuels the need for an extra marital relationship.
