Lucky man. I wish my wife was that understanding. I guess the problem is she still enjoys sex with me, albeit VERY vanilla :-(

I have been married for 40 years (married at 19) and never cheated until after the wife went through menopause and said she no longer wanted sex, we talked and I told her I still needed sex and intimacy and she said it was ok if I see someone else just not to talk about it or bring anyone home.

Yes, but also out of curiosity that if others felt that life could be more exciting and if they also felt the need to have more attention and passion! And thankfully it turned out to be the case on a very large scale! He was the catalyst for me finding IE and I’ve never had so much fun!🥂😁

HaHa. Quite the opposite. In fact, I've said to my wife on several occasions that she is free to have an affair if she wants (possibly to make me feel better about me having them, I accept).
However, each time she has said she doesn't want to and that I'm enough for her.

Whilst that is very sweet of her, I do hope she doesn't end up regretting it!

We've been married a very long time!

I actually do not believe my husband has ever cheated on me. However I’ve cheated on him a few times during our 30+ year marriage. I have no idea how he’d react if he found out; I do think about that. I really don’t believe he’d have a Revenge Affair - but if he did it wouldn’t last long - 3 minutes, tops .. 😂🙄

My husband cheated but that's not the reason I'm here. I think I'm just greedy! Or like the variety of the spice of life.

I felt hurt and upset at the time when I discovered his infidelity but now I understand how getting attention elsewhere is an easy trap to fall into.

Yeah I found out he had big secrets after our first child was born
He has never been very loving
And refused to have sex with me for years and moved himself out of our marital bed years ago
So my reason for cheating was revenge and loneliness

We all have our reasons....
Arguably my other half is much nicer than me and I value those qualities in a domestic setting...
So it is not about revenge or bitterness, maybe just pursuit of something that provides escapism.... Guilty secrets...
