Depends... If you like chatting on sites such as this then maybe yes. However, if you like to see someone face to face, take in their body language and judge in sight then no. The pronblem with *just* chatting is that the lack of connections means that conversations often die a death and you potentially miss out on a wonderful relationship.

It is clear now that out government don't give a stuff about anything except the economy, and so true connections are probably not likely (unless you flout the regs) until near Christmas... How many will be insanely frustrated by then eh?

We can all still meet if only to explore connection and chemistry, have been able to for weeks now if respecting social distancing and taking precautions.
We just have to get creative, use our imaginstions, meet in different places other than the usual and talk in person.
Good luck hope things change for you though.

I'd say no - I joined about 2 weeks prior to lockdown so haven't met anyone in person yet. I've had some really good chats (1 in particular was incredible) but ultimately they all fizzled out because that's all you can do just now, chat!
I wonder how different my experience would be so far if able to meet someone!!!
Here's hoping things change

This would depend on parties concerned

For me, I prefer to meet first drink/coffee as soon as possible as I prefer talking face to face. Happy to have "dates" until meeting ie

I've actually already had a fling from here, after weeks of messaging.

It was really passionate and fun, but short lived!

So I'm back :P

I quite like talking in depth before meeting anyway, so lockdown has not changed it for me too much. I think you really need to assess the conversation chemistry, before the physical chemistry anyway!

I'm excited to find someone new now!
