Somebody mentioned the home phone and back in the day that is all there was.

But hey, we've moved on in terms of technology and. if a problem (not mine) of secrecy iin terms of being found out.

Online guidance about these things suggest a second mobile ....

I would say as soon as possible on the basis tat the site is such a poor forum for chat.

People can be blocked on apps or phone numbers if they turn out not just as pleasant as indicated by the first impression.

I like to move to kik quickly as I find it easier to message. I am quite protective over my phone number, I will happily call the gentleman from a withheld number quickly as I like to chat on the telephone but delete the number instantly after.
I have swapped numbers with people from here, however they tend to be gentleman that have moved into the ‘friend zone’ and we have established real trust

If I contact you first (on here), I give out my number after you have told me what you are looking for, how it would work, we've shared photos and like each other (I'm happy with you withholding your number after all I came after you). If the guy contacts me first, I expect the number after the above process, I normally withhold my number and if we click, I share.
Sorry but I can never meet someone I haven't spoken to. You learn more about someone in a 5mins phone conversation than 5 months of one lined emails (if you have time for that I don't). I only call by appointment although my 1st and only IE guy ever, I had the privilege to call anytime (how he managed it, I never questioned and I never abused this trust explains why we are still friends)

Only once you've built trust and I would advise if you have a second number. Kik is a good starting point.
