The location wasn’t the reason why that particular first message was so awful and resulted in eager guy being blocked.

But it cuts both ways.... Much as I hate the "Hi, do you give good head" approaches (response - thanks, I bite...) which get instantly blocked, I do feel for the men who make an effort but then get dismissed without a polite acknowledgement or just get completely ignored....
@Missmoneypity women do number two's too or have other shit get in the way of dialogue 😂 but I agree nobody likes being left hanging.... I try to be patient... nobody knows what I want at outset except me.... 😂

Alas it is a cruel world we inhabit....

I would also say, once you have been on here a while it’s worth updating your profile as you learn yourself what your preferences are and what you respond to.
Some women like the direct “meet me at south mimms this Friday” approach, whereas others....don’t.
Half the battle is knowing what you want so you can then find it. Needle and haystack come to mind!
So first message wise, be friendly, and as one of my IE contacts - who has now become a virtual friend - says, u see promise, over deliver 🙃
