Lockdown x2

I've been such a good girl since March, behaving, laying tracks, making
friends and not risking. Today I'm in hampstead with work and Boris made
his speech. Something primal took over, saying I'm not waiting six months
to enjoy the passion and excitement of an older guy.... so I flirted with
the best looking lad in the local pub and took him back to the premier inn.
Am I stupid? Risky? I did vet him first, but I thought no way can I go
another six months xxxx please be frank and honest xx

Absolutely zero way you can vet someone from having half a shandy in the ol' Whistle and Pond to the local inn/Lodge. And what does that even mean? You stopped off for one of the non existent Covid walk ins? Bought a private kit and had a 7 minute turn around? Typed "fit Dave" into Google?

Even on here, the bulk of it will be ironically placing trust in the person you're talking to.

Lockdown 2? Probably will happen. People held Bbqs and parties round here the first time, and they don't give a stuff about what Bojo says this time.

3/10 a "meh" effort.

Hope you had a good time but bit risky.
You could have still got together with someone online no and still went to your premier inn

No judgement, I'm sure if we all look back through our adult life we will have done things more like teenagers.

I have been on lots of first dates since I joined in June and I was very sensible and kept them socially distanced until July...then I did a few impulsive things that would be described as covid risky. But the chap took care of the track and trace thing at the check in, I just met him in the room later, wasnt even on the booking.

I would only stick with meets from IE because I feel safer that chaps are accountable because they're registered on here. I'm not going to end up with a weirdo, or anyone who makes my life difficult afterwards but someone who will assure discretion.

Now is the time to get some good chats going on. I think that really helps a first date if there is a history of typed messages and voice and video calls. We are building a connection that feels good on lots of levels, not just raw carnal pleasure. In fact, for me, knowing my date first really makes the sex better.

I wish I was the guy.

I can understand the frustration, 6 months of chatting with guys some for months only to get sent a "Dear John" email when it got close to a date..
Grabbing the first available guy off the street isn't for me, but each to their own.

Personally, I wouldn’t be interested in an IE who spontaneously sleeps with others outside of IE arrangements.
Why wouldn’t you just arrange to meet someone you’d been chatting to?

I do think it is safer to meet someone from IE, especially since everyone is here for the same reasons. But I agree with you about waiting another 6 months, it's not viable. Pandemics have happened before, I believe that this is going to become an endemic anyway - it will return regularly, and we will just deal with it like any other seasonal illness.
