He was fairly generous before that, always paid for hotels etc.. Getting a present meant a lot to me,

I can explain most things away as I buy myself everything, flowers, jeweller, toys etc etc. 😉

I bought a dress once for xmas. Needless to say it didnt suit me 😜
I only ever bought my IE something that could be explained as a self bought purchase. The dress a case in point.

Gifts are like unsolicited phone calls, too many messages on a Sunday Afternoon, or location tracking & tracing services on a mobile phone, -once it comes to an active IE dynamic, you typically expect the relationship NOT to have these.

You cant explain away your extra easter eggs, christmas chocolates or bracelets. You cant explain away that frequent 3 hour stop on Google Maps My Location History on a random residential street, -or outside the Holiday Inn, if that's how you play.

Pay for the dinner, (or cook it) Pay for the nicer hotel, or just make more time, but keep away from anything which needs to be unwrapped. You cant control who is un-wrapping it....

😔 😢 that’s why I ended my last affair. I got him a present he dot me fuck all..

When you are married to the tightest man in London and get fuck all anyway, it’s a big deal to me...

Get her something she can get away with saying she brought herself.. Went on. Date once and he brought me a bottle of champagne for my birthday, he brought it in a gift bag so I got him to write on the bag love from my boss/colleagues.. 🙊
