At 39 I’ve been with my husband for 21 years and have had the most vanilla sex life… my current IE opened my eyes to very exciting and kinky sex. Well I find it very difficult to build an IE relationship when the other party is tied up all the time.... And I think it is sensible to avoid being clamped whilst on an encounter..... explaining at home why you were parked where you were at that time could prove to be quite a tricky one...:-)

It’s an evolving interest. There are so many facets to it and you can’t be into every single one. I’ve found my interests have altered over time. I might try something once and not like it, so it’s never tried again. I can read a piece of erotica and think - I’d like to try that.

Everyone has to start somewhere with it. You do have to be mindful of those who profess to be experts, however they actually have no clue. They are the ones to watch out for, if they aren’t honest about their experience.

BDSM has become something of go-to kink, safe deviance, all nicely packaged and discreetly delivered from Ann Summers. And damn it, some of the gear IS impressive - all that leather and rubber, chains and handcuffs, paddles and whips. Yum.

But do many of us really use the stuff the way it is meant?

On IE at least the biggest taboo is sexuality not sex - much less about that in the profiles than BDSM in my impression.

Different strikes for different folks.

I’ve found that women who are into being tied up, strangled, fucked like a whore are fickle, demanding superficial and get bored easily.… whereas women who love kissing, cuddling, French Martinis and a good old fashioned Duvet day are appreciative, caring and loyal.
